Nebo will host their town-wide yard sales on Saturday, May 17 from 8am to 4pm. If you would like to participate, please contact Sandy Taylor at 217-248-4960. Ladies, if we can have your attention for a moment. Please don’t get rid of your gorgeous prom dresses once prom season is over. You can wear it again (your parents will love that they’re getting their money’s worth out of your dress lol)! Keep that dress and wear it in the Pittsfield Fall Festival in August! You know you looked amazing in it once, so make sure to wow everyone one more time before you move onto the next year’s fashion!

Mark your calendar! You are invited to attend the Nebo High School Alumni Reunion to be held at the Nebo Gym/Community Building on May 23rd, 2014. Doors will open at 5:30 for registration and visiting. Meal will be served at 6:30. Everyone is invited to attend this gathering, whether or not you were a graduate or not.

GRIGGSVILLE: Griggsville Cemetery will begin clean up on March 25. Please remove all flowers & decorations. Anything left after March 25 will be disposed of.
NEBO: Annual cleanup for the Nebo Cemetery will begin on April 1. Please remove everything you want to save from around grave site such as flowers, decorations, etc. by April 1. After cleanup, you are free to return all grave decorations.
PERRY: Perry Cemetery clean up will be on Saturday, March 22 at 1pm. Donations are welcome.
PLEASANT HILL: The annual cleaning of Crescent Heights Cemetery will begin on March 15. Please remove all flowers, containers and grave decorations you wish to save by that date. Anything left after March 15th will be disposed of.

There will be a benefit dinner for Kevin Killebrew on Saturday, March 29 beginning at 4 pm. The menu is Fried Chicken or boneless fish, potato salad, slaw, baked beans, dessert, coffee and tea. Frank Vaughn and Friends will also be performing. Donations will be taken for the dinner and the band.
Donations are to help Kevin with medical expenses. There will be several raffle items which include: 10-22 Ruger 22, 50/50 Raffle, custom tea towels, quilt, brick of 22 LR shells, kids fishing bundle.
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, March 11 at 6:30 pm for anyone wanting to help with the benefit at the Nebo community center.
The Spring Creek Fire Department will hold their annual Pancake & Sausage Supper starting at 4 pm until they run out of pancakes & sausage on Saturday, Feb 15. Adults are only $7 and children 5 and under eat free. Come out and show your support for your local fire department! Donations are greatly appreciated.
